Volunteer at the Markets!
The Jefferson County Farmers Markets value our market volunteers and volunteer Board of Directors. We recognize that we can do so much more and better with support from our community. Volunteers assist with the weekly operation of our three farmers markets and help direct our work in support of local farmers, food artisans, and arts and craft vendors. Together we support our local economy, sustainable food system and strengthen our community. Volunteers help operate the market booth and assist with market setup and breakdown. Our Board of Directors helps guide the operation and annual goals of our markets as well as assists with creating policies and procedures, reviewing and selecting vendors, financial oversight and management, and more.
JCFM is committed to the recruitment, training and support of volunteers to ensure their continued involvements with our markets.
