The Port Townsend Farmers Market was founded be a small group of farmers in 1992 in a downtown parking lot near city hall. Today, the non-profit Jefferson County Farmers Markets, hosts three vibrant farmers markets: two in Port Townsend on Wednesday and Saturday, as well as the Chimacum Farmers Market on Sundays.

Our Port Townsend Saturday Farmers Market was recognized by the Washington State Farmers Market Association in 2011 as one of the state’s leading large farmers markets.

Between our three markets, we have more than 80 vendors offering products from fresh produce. pasture-raised meat, eggs, and fish to artisan prepared food, arts and crafts. We also provide booth space for a rotation of Jefferson County nonprofits as well as public health organizations.
