Because Eating Farm-Fresh all Week Long Tastes and Feels Great
Now at the Haines Street Park and Ride, 440 12th and Streets, Port Townsend, Wednesdays, 2-6pm, June-September
You have to cook everyday, and you don’t want to use produce that has been sitting around since Saturday. Wednesday is the perfect day to head back to the market. Its midweek, you can come after work- the market starts at 2 pm and is open until 6 pm. It’s a great place to shop or relax with a fabulous variety, farm-fresh and artisan food. This season we are hosting a weekly Power of Produce Club at the Port Townsend Wednesday and Chimacum Farmers Markets. Come on by from 2:30-4:30pm for fun food and farming activities for children 5-12 years old.
The Wednesday market is a farm and food only market, no crafts. It is generally a more relaxed slower paced market than Saturday’s festival like atmosphere. Many of the same growers from the Saturday Market sell at Wednesday as well: Midori, Finnriver, SpringRain and more. You will also find some other great local food from Pane D’Amore Artisan Bakrey.
