Excited for Baby Goats
The 25th season opening of the Port Townsend Saturday Farmers Market is only four Saturdays away! Mystery Bay and Harmony’s Way Farms are planning to bring baby goats to market for the goat parade on Saturday, April 1st. This is kidding season, meaning that new baby goats are born daily at our local goat farms. At Mystery Bay 24 mama goats are calving between this and last month. The Mystery Bay goats are 100% cute. Come see for yourself on April 1st.

Help us celebrate our 25th year of nurturing and sustaining local farms and entrepreneurs with your letters. Starting on Opening Day, the Jefferson County Farmers Markets invite your letters of appreciation, poetry and haiku in thanks of local food, arts and crafts. Look for the mailbox by the Farmers Market booth and drop in a letter for us to deliver to one of our 70+ vendors. You are welcome to bring a pre-written letter to market or stop by the booth for a pen and paper. We are looking forward to hearing from you and sharing some of your writing in our newsletter this season.
See you on April 1st at the Market. ~ Amanda Milholland, JCFM Director
